Governance
We strive to provide full transparency in all aspects of our business, with all our stakeholders.
Starting with our financial stakeholders, we provide in-time, in-detail reporting of our financial performance both in profitability and in cash.
Our sustainability lies with results and cash availability which allow us to remain viable during downturns of the economy or our market segments, while maintaining sufficient means to maintain our technical performance with state-of-the art assets. As to our communities, we fulfill all our obligations in full respect to the local laws, we act as good citizens.
With our workforce, we provide a ‘safe inclusive’ environment, where everyone is accepted and is stimulated to develop, whatever his/her gender, origin, age, and capabilities are. We commit to fair compensation to all our colleagues, safe working conditions and respect to their balanced private/work environment. We foster a culture of ‘Fun at Work’, in which participation, collaboration, innovation, initiative, responsibility are encouraged.
We live and operate to the highest standards of ethics. We monitor potential conflicts of interest and if any arising or existing, we commit to resolving them as soon as possible. We don’t leave any space to corruption, bullying or any invisible, disruptive influences. Each of our plants provide access to a trustable ombudsman; we are fully committed to anti-corruption act.
Social
Our social responsibility goes beyond our workforce, it involves the communities we live in. We acknowledge that the size of our plants represent a significant part of the economic activity in the regions we have elected to operate. Our goal is to make this activity sustainable in the long term view, mandating us to make careful decisions on the production footprint (buildings, machinery, potential harm to the environment) but also in recruiting our dedicated workforce.
We provide an open atmosphere for our employees to make their voice heard, their ideas listened and discussed. We encourage social interactions within our facilities but also with families and local communities. We understand that the local communities support our operations as well, with infrastructure and services, and we foster 2-way communications to insure smooth relationships; wherever possible we actively participate to education enhancement and support.
Environment
Realizing that our activity has an impact on the Environment, it is our commitment to reduce our impact on it. On the other hand, Climate change will continue to have influence on our overall business.
Our first duty is to know the current status of our impact. Hence, Team Industries has embarked in a detailed analysis of Categories 1, 2 and 3 of our Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF) with the aim to provide also detailed Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) of all our products by 2025.
Our commitment is to further reduce our energy consumption, by improving energy efficiency of our processes (fiber laser cutting equipment, laser welding deployment, optimization of curing process in our painting lines, …), by producing our own electricity (solar panels on our facility roofs already representing 1,7 MWp) and by selectively buying green electricity.
We strive to participate in the overall value chain of products which are, at the end use, ‘planet friendly’. Through this lens, we purposely selected the segments we are active (railway, energy transition, …). We initiate and/or actively participate in the transformation of our customers products to more sustainable solutions (battery activated compressors, battery powered forklifts, …). We instill a culture of no-waste management in all aspects of our value creation, from optimized resource utilization in the design phase, selection of raw materials, to recycling of our scraps.
